My name is Alyssa Vernon. I am entering the fourth year of my studies at Queen’s University, where I am enrolled in the Concurrent Education program with History and English teachables, while also majoring in Gender Studies. I am a teacher candidate who advocates for marginalized students and believes in the power of art as resistance and anti-oppressive education.
